Hello Recruits!

We’re Max and Emma Garro - California-born, East Coast-bound college lacrosse players. We didn’t have powerhouse coaches paving the way. We had a strategy - and now, we’re sharing it with families like yours.

Recruited To Play™ isn’t just our story. It’s a comprehensive, step-by-step course built with input from college coaches (D1–D3), athletic directors, high school coaches, recruiters, and the NCAA Eligibility Center.

In this new era of roster caps, the transfer portal, and rising competition, your athlete can’t afford to wing it. This guide gives you the roadmap - from building a smart college list and highlight reel to crafting coach emails and staying on their radar.

Whether your athlete is just starting out or racing against time, Recruited To Play™ puts you in control of the process - no matter the sport or location. Let’s give your student-athlete the strategy they need to succeed.

Our Story

Max and Emma Garro grew up as multi-sport athletes in Southern California, each following very different paths to getting recruited—but both landing where they belonged: playing college lacrosse on the East Coast. As their athletic abilities gained national attention, they set their sights on playing at the next level and committed fully to their recruiting journeys.

Along the way, they saw countless talented athletes miss out on college opportunities—not because they lacked skill, but because they lacked a plan. That’s when Max and Emma decided to bring together the coaches, advisors, and recruiting experts who helped guide them, and build something bigger.

The result? Recruited to Play™—a clear, proven, athlete-driven strategy that’s already helping student-athletes across all sports get noticed, stay organized, and take control of their recruiting process.

Driven to pay it forward, Max and Emma turned their lessons into a roadmap so others don’t have to figure it out alone. Whether you're just starting or feeling stuck, Recruited to Play™ is here to help you make the most of your shot at college athletics.
